Scope and Contents

This collection consists of papers relating to Annetta Carter’s career as a botanist at the University Herbarium, University of California, Berkeley and as a plant collector in Baja California. Included are papers related to Carter’s dozens of expeditions to Baja California, field books from plant collecting trips, personal and professional correspondence, manuscripts of writings and lectures, and photographs from trips to Baja California and elsewhere. Files from her research on the flora of Baja California are also included.
