Annie Alexander and Louise Kellogg field notes
This collection of field notes document the botanical collecting activities of Annie Alexander and Lousie Kellogg from 1928-1952. Collections are mainly from California and Nevada, with a few collections from Hawaii. The collections includes original handwritten field notes and typed versions supplemented with photographs and maps.
R. P. Allen field notes
This collection consists of two 1935 field notebooks documenting botanical collecting trips in California by R. P. Allen. Each notebook contains a chronological listing of specimens collected and an itinerary of collecting sites.
Charles L. Anderson papers
This collection contains the correspondence, lectures, and field notes of Charles L. Anderson, amateur botanist of Santa Cruz, California. Noted correspondents include Asa Gray, Daniel Eaton, Samuel Parish, Charles Sprague, and William Setchell.
Mrs. R. M. Austin field notes
This collection consists of a notebook labeled "California Flora; A Catalogue of Plants collected by Mrs. R. M. Austin." Plant species are grouped by family, with no dates or collection numbers.
Ernest Brown Babcock papers
This collection consists of the personal papers of E. B. Babcock. As of June 2009, only his 1912 field notebook has been cataloged. The remainder of his papers will be arranged and described as time permits. Contact the University and Jepson Herbaria Archives for more information.
Rimo Bacigalupi papers
This collection includes correspondence, field notes, photographs, and other materials documenting the scientific career of Rimo Baciagalupi, California botanist and first curator of the Jepson Herbarium at the University of California, Berkeley. Correspondence and papers from Bacigalupi's tenure as chairman of the Friends of the Regional Parks Botanic Garden are also included. A small box of material added to the collection after processing can be found in Series 6.

This collection consists of photocopies of northern California botanist Milo S. Baker's 43 field notebooks as well as a small amount of his correspondence, notes, and reprints.

Mary Beal papers
This collection contains material relating to the photographic and botanical activities of Mary Beal, known for her work on the flora of the eastern Mojave Desert of California. The collection includes photographs of plants and a list of plant specimens collected by Beal between 1937 and 1943.
Charles Belshaw field notes
This collection consists of field notes from Charles Belshaw's 1937 botanical collecting trip to Peru. The collection contains Belshaw's original field notebook and an annotated typed copy of his field book.
