[Commercial Travelers] ::::::::: [Edinburgh, Scotland] September 7, 1905  Christian Association in California! In the "Commercial" Room" is a library belonging to the same Assoc. [Association]. Works of a religious character form about 2/5 of the collection. The remainder were travel, poetry, essays and fiction. I talked with many of these Commercial Travelers. They were a very nice lot, very pleasant, very obliging. They did not look at all like the flashy sort one sees at home.  The meals were simple but wholesome. A rather considerable variety of breads on the table, white bread, rye bread, rye scones, common scones and several varieties of jam, jelly and marmalade; fish, eggs, chops and steaks.
