Columbia, 2200 ft. ----------  No. 6335. Mimulus [douglasii (Benth.) Gray. Det. A.L.G.] Capsules flattened laterally-sideways, the upper edge with narrow wing or strongly keeled; the lower edge rounded. -- On wet hillside, Grant Ranch. No. 6335a. Mimulus Kelloggii (Curran). No. 6336. Githopsis  Corolla blue, small, shorter than the calyx-lobes. This is the small-fld form. No. 6337. Tellima [Lithophragma] bolanderi Bol. Corolla: petals entire. Only 2 fls. on a stalk, at a time, in anthesis. = T. scabrella Greene.!    ::::::::: 31 May 1915 ----------  Cont. no. 6333 & 6328. No. 6328 was put in a vasculum and its flowers kept fresh for 24 hours, the corollas being quite unwilted and the stamens turgid. No. 6333 wilted badly, its corollas and stamens collapsing. No. 6328 = 6 lines long corolla. No. 6333 = 5 lines long. ---------- Cont. no. 6304. Corolla very pale lavender (as a mass a sort of smoky-blue -- Dr. Gilkey). Corolla 5 lines long, its limb 5 lines broad. Stamens unequal, 3 long, 2 short, included. Styles 2, distinct. Ovary short hairy, seated on a yellow base. Corolla minutely and sparingly pubescent outside. Calyx about 1/4 length of cor. tube.
