- Pilostyles thurberi. Near Superstition Mt. "Went to New River Ranch or Thompson ranch, 8 mi. n.w. of Imperial, last ranch next to mesa on which mt. is located but many miles from it. From ranch house went due s. toward mesa, often reaching last ditch angled off toward n.w. over edge of mesa. About 1 mile from ranch house found a blue-fld silky-white Dalea (reasonbly sure it was a Dalea) & on it colonies of what I took to be Pilostyles thurberi. - J.C.
