Chemuheuvis Val. No. 5211. Prosopis (juliflora) glandulosa (Ckll). [= P. glandulosa var. Torreyana] Little Chemhuevis Val. in wash. - The great bank binders against the might of the river are Salix nigra and Salix fluviatilis? = No. 5208; the later is a gray willow with yellow bark. It occupies the outer or river [?] side of the bank and forms a dense zone, often topped behind by the Black Willow which is taller and light green in color. Often the latter is along in the bank.
