Alongside preced & 1 ft. nearer path. Opp. 1 notch in fence, between notches 2 & 4, & 4 ft. from path. directly in n. & s. line with preced. & 1 ft. from path r.r. spike opp. 3 notches in fence & 80 ft. w. of Pole 1/16 & 5 ft. from path. ::::::::: Sept. 28, 1912 [See image for drawings.] broken head in rr spike 62 ft. w. Pole 1/16, opp. one long and one short notch in fence & 3 ft. from path. ---------- No. 5164. Eschscholtzia calif. wire spike _ These spikes of old (1911) setting show as " " / straw-colored fl. plants and are opposite Post 16. Counting from the Davis roadway and not counting the first or whitewashed post. They are on the bank within 2 ft. of path. and I have set up a r.r. coupling pin opp. them, 2 ft. nearer fence n. On the sheets these two are marked post 9 and the count was from [?? look up.]
