Araquipa Hills 1- Quercus Douglasii maintains itself, noticed young growth 15 or 20 years old which has come up much later than the time when cutting for firewood first began in these hills. 2- Buckeye. Did not notice any seedlings. Think it does not extend its original area much. Cattle may browse seedlings down but the seeds get little chance to bury.
