Ribes Greene. Spreading bush,  ft. high and 8 or 10 ft. broad, flowering profusely, even down the stems to the ground. Fls. 1 or 2 in a place. = Proezlii Rgl. (!). No. 2784. Viola. In pines. V. purpurea Kell. Headwaters Lime Kiln Creek, Tulare Co. No. 2785. Viola quercetorum B & Cl. With preced. No. 2786. Lathyrus. With preced. Only a little of this in a place. = Vicia californica Greene. No. 2787. Delphinium patens Benth. Fls. [Flowers] magenta. Lower petals very deeply cleft and with a  ::::::::: [Millwood Fresno Co. 5100 ft.] May 22, 1907  lateral spur or tooth projecting around upper petals. Ranger's Cabin, Lime Kiln Creek, Tulare Co.  No. 2788. Ribes roezlii (Rgl. (!) Greene. With preced. No. 2789. Plectritis. With preced.  From Millwood we trailed up to a Redwood Grove above the Lake. There is some reproduction. Thence across to headwaters of Lime Kiln Creek where there is a Big Tree grove practically connecting with foregoing. Some Big Tree reproduction in first grove mentioned, a good deal in second. Young trees 10 to 20 feet high, narrow pyramidal to almost spire-shaped, especially at top.
