Scope and Contents of the Materials
These twelve notebooks document J. Burtt Davy's botanical fieldwork from 1893-1901. Collections are primarily from California, but trips to Texas and Arizona also documented. Notebooks contain soil survey data and general botanical observations in addition to plant specimen collection data.
