This collection consists of a group of looseleaf papers belonging to Adele L. Grant. Grant received her B.S. in Botany from the University of California at Berkeley. She went on to receive her M.S. and Ph.D. in botany at Washington State University. Her main area of research was the genus Mimulus. She was born in 1881 in Carpenteria, California and passed away in 1969 in Los Angeles.
